The Association Membership is not insurance. Any supplemental group insurance requires association membership to enroll. You do not have to purchase any supplemental group insurance or other membership plans in order to enroll in the Association.

Beyond the benefits included with UBA Membership, additional benefits are optionally available to UBA members through a variety of supplemental insurance and benefit programs, whereby members can choose to enroll in the benefits(s) that best suit them for an additional monthly fee.
Various insurance companies have issued group insurance policies with the United Business Association as the group master policyholder, so that the coverage provided by each policy is available only to members of the association. For this reason, optional supplemental insurance programs that include one or more of these group insurance benefits are available for enrollment to UBA members only. If you're not a UBA member and would like to enroll in any such program that includes group insurance benefits, concurrent enrollment is permitted for your convenience: if you're enrolling in UBA Membership you can simultaneously enroll in any programs that require membership.
Insurance benefits are available through optional enrollment in supplemental insurance programs only. The benefits included in UBA Membership itself are non-insurance benefits. Additionally, not all supplemental benefit programs offered by UBA include insurance benefits exclusively; some include insurance benefits and non-insurance benefits, and some include non-insurance benefits only.
Enrolling in the United Business Association does not require purchasing or enrolling in any additional supplemental insurance or benefit programs. While UBA membership is necessary to enroll in any supplemental insurance programs that include group insurance benefits, all supplemental benefit programs offered by UBA are optional, and none are required to become a UBA member.

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your enrollment, just notify us anytime up to thirty (30) days after your Effective Date to cancel and receive a full refund of all dues, premiums, or fees paid.

United Business Association does not require members to enroll or purchase any group or blanket group insurance to become a member of UBA. The optional association group insurance is only available to members of UBA who have the desire to enhance their membership. All group association insurance offered through UBA is supplemental and does not provide major medical or comprehensive medical coverage and is not designed to replace major medical insurance. Further, the insurance coverage available is not minimum essential benefits as set forth under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. Membership includes multiple non-insurance services and benefits, including access to insurance products. All plan descriptions above are based on a broad overview of the majority of state's coverage available in the plan. Some coverage amounts or coverage availability may vary by state. Always review the state specific Certificate of Insurance for each plan to determine coverage benefits, availability, terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions. If there are any discrepancies between the descriptions above and the Certificate, the Certificate will govern.
